Plastic protective cap (ORANGE) is used to close any heating element with a 1 1/4 "(one inch and a quarter) thread on the side of the contacts . The cap fits tightly on the heating element hexagon from the side of the contacts both without a thermostat, and complete with any round rod mechanical thermostat from the side of connecting wires to the thermostat. And thereby allowing to protect a person, especially small children , from touching bare wires and electric shock at the points of connection to the thermostat or directly to the heating element.The cap is very effective for use in conjunction with the rod mechanical thermostat for battery heating elements for cast iron batteries, radiators, as well as for any other heating elements with a thread 1 1/4 ".
